Digital Transformation Director, 12 month FTC, £90k-£100k, London

Fuse are working with a FTSE 100 organisation to recruit a Digital Transformation Director with proven experience of delivering digital transformation programmes on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract.

In this business critical role, you will work with the Data & Digital Modernisation team to define, sponsor and deliver large-scale digital transformation programmes. The position will have a particular emphasis on building long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure that technology enabled change is delivered in a way that aligns with the key objectives of the organisation.

In order to be suitable for this position you must have proven experience of working at a senior level to successfully deliver complex (£10m+) digital transformation programmes that improve the customer experience.

You will work at executive level, act as the programme sponsor and drive forward the technology modernisation agenda

Accountabilities

  • Management of a Portfolio of Digital Transformation Programmes ensuring technological change is directed and managed in the correct manner, modernising core technology systems to enable modern ways of working.
  • Utilising technology to provide the business with key insights and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Ensuring effective communication across the entire organisation to engender support and engagement with the change programme.
  • Managing teir-1 integration and technology partners to deliver the required change in a timely manner.
  • Working alongside other Transformation Directors to ensure a single change program is delivered, understanding cross-programme dependencies, risks and capability release

Experience required;

  • 15+ years of delivering Data, Technology & Digital Change
  • Breath of relevant experience to be able to manage in a broad and high profile role
  • A working knowledge and demonstration of success in matrix organisation
  • Proven experience of translating strategy into excellent execution
  • Proven experience at building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • A confident communicator able to represent the business at all levels
  • Extensive presentation experience and influential people leader
  • Proven track record of creating and delivering commercial business plans
  • Commercial negotiator
  • Ability to embrace innovation and digest changing market conditions
