Business Architect

Business Architect £500-£550 per day, Birmingham 2 days a week, Umbrella

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business process design and strategic planning. As a Business Architect, you will be responsible for developing and implementing architectural solutions that align with our business goals and drive operational excellence.

The successful applicant will be involved in a large scale transformation and Org re design. Working closely with HR and the corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements.
• Design and develop comprehensive business architecture frameworks and models.
• Analyse and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Define and implement business strategies that support organizational goals.
• Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with IT architects to ensure alignment between business and technology strategies.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to business architecture, including process maps, workflows, and standards.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams during the implementation of business solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the business architecture function.

Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of business process design, modelling, and analysis.
• Experience with business architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in using business architecture tools and software.
• Certification in business architecture (e.g., Certified Business Architect) is a plus.
