Test Analyst

Test Analyst, Birmingham 2 days a week, £475 per day through an umbrella

Fuse are working with a client in Birmingham to recruit a Test Analyst for five months. We are looking for Test Analysts that are able to develop test plans, test scripts, and execute a range of testing, including functional, e2e, and UAT.

This is an great role implementing a new cloud-based case management system, implementing testing and QA activities with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities will include

• Create comprehensive test plans and scripts that include creative scenario planning, negative testing and setting appropriate acceptance criteria.
• Complete large scale holistic (unit, system, integration, user, performance, security, etc) manual testing performed to the necessary standard.
• Collaborate with any third-party test resources to ensure quality of test outcomes to agreed standards.
• Perform manual test execution to required standard within specified tight timeframes.
• Championing the automation of repetitive work, such as regression testing using Selenium.

Skills Required

• Demonstrate test plan and script creation skills in similar roles.
• Able to work across the full spectrum of Testing & QA activities from test strategy to execution.
• Previous experience of test planning & execution of SaaS implementations.
• Experienced with Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, and defect management.
