Test Manager

Test Manager, £525 per day, 2 days onsite in Birmingham

Fuse are working with a client to recruit an interim Test Manager for 3 months. There will be potential to extend.

The Test Manager will join a D365 Programme advising and developing the programme test strategy and approach, while working closely with a Systems Integrator to make sure they have sufficient coverage and accountability from all parties.

The key experience for this role, which is a must, is experience working on D365 Finance & Operation module. Customer Experience (CE) would be a bonus.

The Test Manager is expected to develop a comprehensive test strategy and plan that outlines the approach, scope, objectives, and success criteria for testing Dynamics 365 Finance and CE functionalities, integrations, and customizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and methodologies for testing Dynamics 365 Finance. Dependent on scope this may be required across Customer Engagement functionalities, integrations, and customizations.
• Define test objectives, scope, and success criteria in alignment with project goals and business requirements.
• Lead the identification, prioritization, and creation of test cases, scripts, and scenarios to validate system functionality, performance, and usability.
• Coordinate testing activities across project teams, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related roles, with a focus on ERP or CRM system implementations, particularly Dynamics 365 Finance and Customer Engagement.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience developing test strategies, plans, and test cases for complex systems and business processes.
• Proficiency in testing tools and technologies, such Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
