Contract Project Manager - Pensions Data Migration, £500-£600 per day

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager / Senior PM to lead a critical pensions data migration programme within a financial services environment.
This role will focus on migrating pensions data from SQL Server to a third-party administration platform, working closely with internal teams and an external supplier to ensure a smooth and controlled transition.
What you'll be doing
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a pensions data migration programme
- Oversee the movement of data from SQL Server to a third-party admin system
- Coordinate data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities
- Manage integration points and ensure data integrity throughout migration
- Work closely with third-party administrators and technical teams
- Drive delivery within an Agile or hybrid environment, ensuring milestones are met
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments, ensuring alignment and clear communication
What we're looking for
- Proven experience delivering pensions data migration or administration platform projects
- Strong understanding of pensions data structures and administration processes
- Experience working with SQL Server / large-scale data environments
- Background in third-party admin platform implementations or transitions
- Strong delivery mindset with the ability to manage risk, dependencies, and timelines
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to operate in complex, fast-paced environments
