Data Lead - Data Migration & Reporting
Payments Transformation Programme
Contract: Outside IR35 | Duration: Initial 6 months | Hybrid Working | £500-£600 per day
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Data Lead to join a major Payments Transformation programme. You'll take ownership of data quality, migration and reporting, ensuring the successful delivery of a critical workstream that underpins programme go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data quality assessments, cleansing and migration activities across customer and finance data.
- Design and execute ETL processes, reconciliation rules, migration rehearsals and cutover planning.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting for programme governance and executive stakeholders.
- Establish data governance standards, maintain the data dictionary and ensure data readiness for programme milestones.
- Work closely with Technology, Finance and Business stakeholders to deliver a successful migration and reporting capability.
About You
You'll be an experienced Data Lead with a strong track record delivering complex data migration programmes. You'll combine hands-on technical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills and be comfortable leading a workstream within a fast-paced transformation environment.
Essential:
- Hands-on experience delivering data migration and ETL solutions.
- Strong Power BI dashboard and reporting development skills.
- Experience of Dynamics 365 or similar ERP migrations.
- Expertise in data reconciliation, cleansing, governance and cutover planning.
- Ability to work independently within a complex transformation programme.
Experience within financial services, membership organisations or other regulated environments would be highly advantageous.
